The WRX's new engine generates 268 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. when mated to a six-speed manual transmission or available Sport Lineartronic® with manual mode. This performance is a vast improvement over the previous model's 2.5-liter powertrain. The 2.0-liter churns out more power and efficient from less displacement.
