Every month, the Japanese automaker releases the sales figures for all of the Subaru models that were moved off of dealership lots, like ours here at Johnson Subaru of Cary.
Drivers seemed to have spring fever when it came to the month of May as they rushed to get their hands on a new Subaru model and get outdoors. In fact, no less than 44,170 new Subaru models were sold in the U.S. throughout the month of May, which reflects a 10.72 percent increase over the previous year.
The Outback was particularly successful with the sales of 11,641 models, making this the model's most successful May to date. The popularity of the Outback is only expected to keep growing as the 2015 model year is about to arrive in our Cary, NC showroom this summer.
