At Johnson Subaru of Cary, we carry five trims of the WRX. They all benefit from 2.4-liter turbocharged engines that produce 271 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Plus, they come with all-wheel drive. All-wheel drive can enhance traction when you have to deal with slippery roads, and it can also come in handy when you're accelerating and cornering. You won't have to make any adjustments to the drivetrain since it can handle that on its own.

The first four trims feature six-speed manual transmissions. The highest trim, which is the GT, has a Subaru Performance Transmission instead. In addition, it's equipped with an engine performance management system as well as different drive modes and a more sophisticated suspension with electronically controlled dampers.
