2018 vs 2019 Subaru Models
There are a few small updates, and a few major redesigns, and more when it comes to the new 2019 model year for these Subaru crossover SUVs.
Subaru Outback
For this new model year, the Outback receives a few upgrades. New for this model year is the inclusion of the EyeSight® suite of driver assistance and safety features. Having EyeSight® standard means you don't have to spend extra to get features like pre-collision braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and sway warning, and lane keep assist. Additional extra features include dual-USB ports and an upgraded driver information display.
Subaru Crosstrek
Similarly to the Outback, the 2019 Crosstrek brings new safety features, new feature availability and more. EyeSight® includes pre-collision braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and sway warning, and lane keep assist technology. This means you'll enjoy safety and security no matter how far you go from home. The trims receive a moderate update with newly available features on each level.
Subaru Forester
The Subaru Forester has been completely redesigned for the 2019 model year. You'll get an all-new style, more standard features, more technology, and just more of everything. You'll get Apple CarPlay and Android Auto included standard for this year, as well as numerous safety features like EyeSight®. You'll love the all-new Subaru Forester and all it brings for you in a modern package.
Capability
Every Subaru crossover model comes standard with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, an intelligent drivetrain that provides you with reliable traction wherever you roam. The Outback even offers X-Mode® as standard. Furthermore, you can count on an 8.7-inch ground clearance when you want to take your Subaru crossover off the beaten path.
Powertrain
Like all Subaru models, the 2018 Outback, Crosstrek and Forester come equipped with a Subaru Boxer® engine. The Outback offers a 256-horsepower variant while the Forester offers up to 250 horsepower. Meanwhile, the Crosstrek provides an available Lineartronic® continuously variable transmission.
Interior
Each crossover model has a well-appointed interior that is sure to benefit families and individual adventurists alike. The Outback has optional heated seating as well as Java Brown leather-trimmed upholstery.
